The parish ministries strive to assist parishioners in attaining a deeper relationship with our Lord and with fellow parishioners, by helping them to recognize their unique spiritual gifts, as well as, to understand the particular mission the Lord is calling them to for His Church. The mission of the ministries is to share talents, to deepen faith, to serve one another, the parish, the community, and above all else…the LORD.
We’d like to invite you to take some time to review our various ministries we have available to every parishioner regardless of age or station in life, there is something for everyone.
Liturgical Ministries |
“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘it is more blessed to give than to receive.’” – Acts 20:35
Faith Formation |
We strive to nurture the minds and hearts of the entire Catholic family so we can be prepared to live our lives as effective ambassadors of our faith.
Prayer |
“And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” – 1 John 5:15
Youth |
“’Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.’ and he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.” – Mark 10:13-16
Evangelization |
Every Christian is challenged, here and now, to be actively engaged in evangelization; indeed, anyone who has truly experienced God’s saving love does not need much time or lengthy training to go out and proclaim that love.—Evangelii Gaudium
Social Concerns Ministry |
The Social Concerns Ministry staffs and manages the food pantry that serves those in need with non-perishable and canned goods. Donations of food items or cash to purchase food for the pantry can be made during regular parish office hours. In addition, this group accepts applications for assistance with late rent payments and utilities. Proper documents and valid identification are required to be attached to each application.
