“The faithful, therefore, must learn the deepest meaning and the value of all creation, as well as its role in the harmonious praise of God. They must assist each other to live holier lives even in their daily occupations.”

– Lumen Gentium

Faith Formation

We strive to nurture the minds and hearts of the entire Catholic family so we can be prepared to live our lives as effective ambassadors of our faith.

At Our Lady of Peace, we do not seek to merely prepare people to receive holy Sacraments, we are compelled to engage every person with a desire to enrich their understanding of what it means to be a part of the universal Catholic Church. The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ as the compass which guides us to Him through our regular receiving of the Holy Eucharist as a communal, Eucharistic people.

We invite each of you to deepen your faith further by considering your participation in our following programs.

Family Catechesis

Family Catechesis

Faith Formation

Family Catechesis is a religious education program that helps parents grow in their own faith, while they guide their children in core faith formation. It develops strong Catholic families, in which children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ and the truths of our Faith, through the witness of Christian life given by their parents.’

Youth Group Emmanuel's

Youth Group Emmanuel's

Faith Formation

Youth Group Emmanuel’s mission is to mold the youth (age 14-21) in faith and shape the generation of tomorrow’s Church.  It was founded in June 2015, and they meet regularly on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the church basement. The group’s focus is on youth formation, while also providing planned activities and retreats, in conjunction with other parishes of the Archdiocese of Denver. One of these activities involves attending the Annual Catechetical Congress, which includes presentations specifically tailored to youth.

Become Catholic

Become Catholic

Becoming Catholic is one of life’s most profound and joyous experiences. Some are blessed enough to receive this great gift while they are infants, and, over time, they recognize the enormous grace that has been bestowed on them. Others enter the Catholic fold when they are older children or adults…

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process for unbaptized adults to become fully initiated into the Catholic Church. RCIA is also adapted for those who are already baptized but not fully catechized or initiated with the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Children/Youth prepares unbaptized children ages 7 and up to receive Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist through special classes and rites along with regular religious education classes.
